At tennisnuts, having tested out the new Babolat Air Viper, have found that it offers immense attacking power without compromising manoeuvrability! With the new rough surface, it is more of a gritty face rather than rough, you can definitely add more spin to your game. We found that the padel racket is quite head-light, meaning the weight is distributed towards the handle of the racket, which gives you much more control and enabling you to move around the court much faster. The sweetspot is not too high of the padel racket, which means you can generate good amount of power even though it is a head-light padel.
Who should buy the Babolat Air Viper?
If you find that you cover a lot of ground when playing padel, then this is the padel racket for you because you get great manoeuvrability without sacrificing spin nor too much power. Additionally, if you find that you're more of a touch player, or you tend to be quite close to the net, then this is also a great option for you.
