Yonex Duora 8XP Badminton Racket - main image

High Tension Frame. Designed for players that want the latest in badminton technology in a racket that can withstand higher tensions.

“I feel like my arm is one with the racquet on both my forehand and backhand, so I can push faster at the net.” - Lee Chong Wei

The highly-anticipated Duora 8XP takes all of the radical innovation and world-class performance of the Duora Z-Strike and combines it with a 3U weight racket that is designed to be strung up to 35lbs. This cutting edge racket, featuring Dynamic Dual Design, allows players to master every shot and control the court with two contrasting racket profiles in one unique frame design. The Nanometric DR carbon graphite box frame design (highlighted with a FOREHAND sign on the frame) improves shuttle hold for high repulsion and devastating smashes on the forehand, whilst the Ni-Ti fibre aero frame design allows for increased repulsion and attacking play on the backhand side. And because the DUORA 8XP is evenly balanced and has a stiff frame, there's no need to have a different type of racket, as you can add more power or speed to your game with one simple spin.

High Tension Warning

We do not recommend that the majority of club players choose to string this racket up to the 35 lbs limit. Stringing at high tensions is likely to cause the strings to break significantly quicker and may cause players to injure themselves. For more information on stringing tensions please see our guide on How To Choose a Badminton String.

  • Frame Material: H.M. Graphite, NANOMETRIC DR, Ni-Ti Fiber
