Only an extra half inch, for more spin and power.
As used on tour by Santiago Giraldo.
Pure Control Tour Plus GT is half an inch longer than the standard version but allows players to drive the ball harder, with more spin. Designed for players who like to take the ball on the rise, it allows players to control the ball more through greater flexibility.
Babolat Pure Control series fuses traditional elements with GT and Woofer technology to offer a unique solution of control and power for aggressive strikers of the ball. It features a traditional box frame favoured for control and precision. Furthermore, the frame is made from FlexCarbon, which uses lower density of carbon fibre for a flexible frame that delivers precision akin to old classic frames.
The shaft features Graphite Tungsten weave that provides enhanced feel and power. This next-generation material is also provides greater stiffness required for rackets to remain stable against power and speed of modern tennis game. Woofer technology in the frame meanwhile allows energy to travel more freely along the strings, which would otherwise be lost into the grommets, resulting in power level similar to larger head-size.
