power & spin

The Yonex VCORE Alpha tennis racket is a lightweight, spin-focused performance frame designed for improving players seeking easy acceleration and controlled power. With a 100 sq. in. head size, 275g unstrung weight and a 330mm balance, it delivers a fast, whippy response that helps generate higher net clearance and heavier rotation. Constructed from HM Graphite with Nanomesh Neo, Servo Filter and VDM, it offers improved stability and a more comfortable feel at impact.

Colour: Ruby Red

Staff Pro Review:

The VCORE Alpha is ideal for developing intermediates who want effortless spin without moving into a heavier tour frame. At 275g with a head-light feel through the swing, it’s quick through the air and forgiving across the string bed. The open 16x18 pattern really helps lift the ball, making it a strong choice for baseline players building confidence with aggressive topspin.

Product Details:

  • 100 sq. in. head size for accessible power and forgiveness
  • 275g unstrung weight for easy manoeuvrability
  • 330mm balance for enhanced racket head speed
  • 24.5–26.5–23mm beam for aerodynamic acceleration
  • 16x18 string pattern to maximise spin potential
  • HM Graphite with Nanomesh Neo for improved frame flex and stability
  • Servo Filter and VDM for vibration dampening and cleaner feedback

FAQs:

1: How does the 16x18 string pattern affect performance?

The more open pattern increases string movement and snapback, helping players generate greater spin and higher ball trajectory with less effort.

2: Is the VCORE Alpha suitable for junior players transitioning to full-size rackets?

Yes. At 275g unstrung with a 100 sq. in. head, it provides a manageable weight and forgiving hitting area, making it a strong progression option.

3: What role does Nanomesh Neo play in the frame?

Nanomesh Neo enhances shaft flex and frame stability, supporting improved ball pocketing while maintaining spin-friendly responsiveness.
