

A Dutch doubles specialist born in July 1991, Pel has focused almost exclusively on doubles throughout his career, reaching a career‑high doubles ranking of world No. 70 in October 2023 and winning one ATP Tour title alongside Sander Arends, plus an impressive tally of 19 Challenger and 11 Futures doubles titles. He made his ATP main‑draw debut in 2017 at the Ricoh Open, and in a career‑highlight year of 2025 he reached the men’s doubles final at Wimbledon (with Rinky Hijikata) as alternates, defeating several top‑seeded pairs en route.
