[K]Amethyst comes as a new racket from Wilson designed for competitive women. The lightweight and an even balance make this racket feel light and easy to handle. Also, more noticeably the stringbed is denser towards the throat and more open towards the top. This enables the racket to bite on to the ball, releasing it with greater power and spin.
The headsize is a moderate 107 sq which sits right between midplus and oversize spec, making for a good sweetspot without being overly reliant on the frame size for power.
