Play like Kento Momota with the Astrox 99 Pro, perfect for the advanced attacking player.

Colour: White Tiger

The highly anticipated Astrox 99 Pro is here and brings numerous changes to enhance the racket for advanced and intermediate players alike. A stiff, head-heavy racket from the popular Astrox range, the Astrox 99 Pro takes the success of the Astrox 99 and takes it to the next level with careful adjustments.

The biggest change includes the addition of Volume Cut Resin - a new epoxy resin providing excellent strength at light weight. This is necessary to support the new slimmer shaft, which is also shorter compared to the Astrox 99. Advanced players will be able to take advantage of the increased snapback from the slimmer shaft, while most players should notice the improved feel.

The hoop of the racket has also seen refinements which include an optimised isometric headshape, fine tuned for more forgiveness on off-centre shots. The thickness of the frame at the top of the racket has been made thicker to enhance power and to accomodate and work with the Power Assist Bumper which extends the length of some of the central mains strings for even more snapback and power.

The changes ultimately result in a powerful Astrox racket that is also capable of remarkable level of control. Designed for players like Kento Momota, the Astrox 99 Pro is not only great at smashes, but also feels great on slices and net play, specifically spin shots, especially when it's strung in Yonex Aerobite strings.
