Hybrid strings are widely used on the Pro Tour. Wilson's softer multifilaments - for power and feel - intertwined with Luxilon's firmer monofilaments -
for extra spin and durability, provide the perfect combination for the competitive player. It is recommended that you reduce the tension of all the Big Banger strings by 10%. Most people use these strings as the MAIN strings of hybrid stringing system, ie combined with other strings, although they can be used on their own for maximum durability.
