Teardrop Shape - All Round

NOX AT10 Genius 18K Alum Buenos Aires Edition Padel Racket (2026)

The NOX AT10 Genius 18K Alum Buenos Aires Edition Padel Racket (2026) is a professional-level padel racket developed with Agustín Tapia for versatile control, power and spin. Created for the Buenos Aires Premier Padel P1, its teardrop shape combines an 18K Alum Carbon face with an MLD Black EVA core for a solid, medium feel. The adjustable Weight Balance system lets players alter the racket's balance, while Dual Spin adds 3D texture and a silica-sand finish for greater spin generation.

Product Technologies:

  • 18K Alum Carbon: Aluminised 18K carbon fibre provides a solid yet comfortable response, with NOX engineering the material to maintain more consistent playing characteristics when temperatures change.
  • MLD Black EVA: A multi-layer core using different rubber densities to improve ball release on slower defensive shots while providing a more powerful response when accelerating through attacking shots and smashes.
  • Weight Balance: Interchangeable 2g and 4g counterweights allow players to customise the racket's overall weight and balance to suit their preferred handling, control or attacking characteristics. The system can also be used with frame protectors.
  • Dual Spin: Combines a three-dimensional textured surface with a low-weight silica-sand finish across the face, increasing ball grip for greater spin while maintaining material durability.
  • Dynamic Composite Structure: Additional material extends from the frame into the face to create a smoother transition between areas of different stiffness, helping reduce the risk of fibre damage on off-centre impacts.
  • EOS Tunnel: Aerodynamic openings around the throat improve airflow through the racket, contributing to quicker handling and more efficient movement through the air.
  • Pulse System: Rubber elements positioned along the lower sides of the frame help reduce vibrations transmitted towards the player's hand.
  • NOX Custom Grip: NOX's patented grip system is designed to improve hand contact with the handle while also helping reduce unwanted vibration.
  • Oversize Grip: The handle is extended by 30mm, providing additional room for players with larger hands or those who prefer extra handle length, including for two-handed shots.
  • Smartstrap: The replaceable safety-cord system allows the wrist strap to be changed quickly without needing to alter the racket's main handle assembly.
  • Photochromic Paint: Reactive paint within the racket's heart changes visually with the light and complements the colour of the core, giving this edition a distinctive finish..

Colour: Blue/White/Gold

Staff Pro Review:

The AT10 Genius 18K Alum Buenos Aires Edition offers plenty of scope for experienced players to fine-tune the racket rather than accept a fixed set-up. Weight Balance is particularly useful for adjusting handling to match your game, while the 18K Alum Carbon and MLD Black EVA combination produces a controlled, medium response. Dual Spin makes it especially effective for players who regularly use slice, kick and topspin.

FAQs:

Q: What difference do the Weight Balance counterweights make?
A: The supplied 2g and 4g weights let you alter the racket's weight distribution. This means you can experiment with the balance to prioritise faster handling or a more substantial feel through attacking shots without changing racket.

Q: Why combine 3D texture and silica sand in the Dual Spin surface?
A: The two textures work together to increase friction between the ball and racket face. This provides additional assistance when producing spin on viboras, slices and other technically demanding shots while retaining good surface durability.

Q: How does MLD Black EVA affect the racket at different hitting speeds?
A: Its multi-density construction is designed to respond differently according to impact speed, providing useful ball release during controlled defensive play while offering a firmer, more powerful response when the player accelerates through smashes and attacking shots.

Diamond Shape - Power Focus

High Balance & High Sweet Spot. Combines explosive power with precise control for players who consistently find the sweet spot. The diamond shape distributes more weight towards the racket head, resulting in a head-heavy balance that naturally increases power on attacking shots.

Teardrop Shape - All Round

Medium Balance & Centred Sweet Spot. Combines impressive power with excellent control for players who want all-round performance. The teardrop shape distributes weight more evenly across the racket, creating a medium balance that offers the perfect blend of power, control, and manoeuvrability.

Round Shape - Control Focus

Low Balance & Bigger Sweet Spot. Delivers outstanding control and forgiveness for players who value consistency and precision. The round shape distributes weight evenly toward the handle, creating a low balance that improves manoeuvrability and provides a larger sweet spot.

Hybrid Shape - Counter-Attacking Focus

Combines power, control, and versatility for players who want the best of both worlds. The hybrid shape blends characteristics of multiple racket designs, creating a balanced feel with a generous sweet spot and reliable performance in both attack and defence.
