In collaboration with Roger Federer, Wilson have reinvented the iconic Pro-Staff. Inspired in Switzerland, this new, state-of-the-art, design enables any tennis player to refine their game. Requested by Federer to have the same look as his RF97 Autograph racket, the new Wilson Pro Staff 97LS is much lighter, and is designed for club players and advanced juniors who look to use as much spin as possible, thanks to the 18x16 pattern. The 270g unstrung weight and 97 square inch head give you a large sweetspot and headsize, while the Head-Light balance offers you the pure, classic feel that the Pro Staff line is renowned for, as well as unrivalled control.
History of the Wilson Pro-Staff
Engineered in Chicago, the Wilson Pro-Staff line is one of the most legendary names in tennis. Used by some of the finest players in tennis history, the Pro Staff has long been known as Wilson's finest product. While the original Jack Kramer Autograph model is the first Pro Staff racket, the Pro Staff 85 was the first well-known graphite version, and was established as a legendary racket by Pete Sampras, who used it throughout his entire career. Following Sampras, players such as Jimmy Connors, Jim Courier, Stefan Edberg, Chris Evert, Steffi Graf, Mary Pierce and Roger Federer have used Wilson Pro Staffs, making it the choice of champions.
