315g Series Noir version of Roger Federer's racket. Now with Countervail technology to help you battle longer with even more intensity.
Colour: Matte Black Velvet / Tuxedo Black
In collaboration with Roger Federer, Wilson have reinvented the iconic Pro-Staff. Inspired in Switzerland, this new, state-of-the-art, design enables any tennis player to refine their game. The new Wilson Pro Staff 97 offers more play-ability than the signature RF97 Autograph while maintaining the gorgeous all-black decal, and is designed for players who look to attack relentlessly but enjoy using a racket that has more maneuverability. The 315g unstrung weight and 97 square inch head give you a large sweetspot and headsize, while the Head-Light balance offers you the pure, classic feel that the Pro Staff line is renowned for, as well as unrivalled control.
This Countervail model distributes impact shock throughout the racket and prevents it reaching the players arm. The result is reduced muscle fatigue and recovery time. The energy maximising technology does not affect the feel, flex and control, so will be a natural upgrade to current Pro Staff users.
History of the Wilson Pro-Staff
Engineered in Chicago, the Wilson Pro-Staff line is one of the most legendary names in tennis. Used by some of the finest players in tennis history, the Pro Staff has long been known as Wilson's finest product. While the original Jack Kramer Autograph model is the first Pro Staff racket, the Pro Staff 85 was the first well-known graphite version, and was established as a legendary racquet by Pete Sampras, who used it throughout his entire career. Following Sampras, players such as Jimmy Connors, Jim Courier, Stefan Edberg, Chris Evert, Steffi Graf, Mary Pierce and Roger Federer have used Wilson Pro Staffs, making it the choice of champions.
