The MicroGel Extreme Pro, favoured by Richard Gasquet and Ivan Ljubicic now comes with an upgrade of DuPont™ Teflon® Polymer grommets. These grommets have lower friction and therefore allow strings to move more freely resulting in longer string life and greater power.
Extreme, despite being a fairly new addition to Head's family of rackets has established itself prominently with the Radical and Prestige. Its distinct broader stringbed allows greater spin and more stable shots. The Pro is heavier at 315g and offers controlled power. Its headlight balance makes it very manouevrable and allows customising if necessary. Players with a developed technique and an all court game will love this racket as it generates power from the baseline more easily compared to most players' frames and is stable and manouevrable at the net.
