The MicroGel Extreme Team now comes with an upgrade of DuPont™ Teflon® Polymer grommets. These grommets have lower friction and therefore allow strings to move more freely resulting in longer string life and greater power.
Extreme, despite being a fairly new addition to Head's family of rackets has established itself prominently with the Radical and Prestige. Its distinct broader stringbed allows greater spin and more stable shots. The Team is lighter and has a bigger head than the MP and Pro but in no way is it another out and out power oversize racket. This racket still has a headlight balance that allows variety groundstrokes and volleys. The bigger head obviously makes for easier hitting and makes this racket is very practical for club standard play. Recommended for players suffering from tennis elbow as this racket is not stiff and has a damp feel.
